Despite having received interest and offers from Napoli, Inter Milan, PSG and As.Roma as they all have attempted or want to sign either Hugo Lloris or Erik Lamela neither of them will be sold as the new coach of the club Mauricio Pochettino has plans for both players.

Lamela was only able to make 9 league appearances for Tottenham in the previous campaign but Pochettino is determined to place the Argentine into a more influential role atWhite Hart Laneand has no desire of selling him.

Hugo Lloris will be representingFranceduring the 2014 World Cup and the goalkeeper announced that the first goal of himself and his country is to get through the group stages.

“I think the first goal is to go through from the group stage. After that it’s the last 16 and it’s effectively another tournament because you play only one game so it’s very open and anything could happen. But before that we have to be focused on our preparations’’. Hugo Lloris told the club’s official website.

Erik Lamela on the other hand was allowed to train with River Plate for a short period of time before making his return toWhite Hart Laneand train with his teammates for the pre-season training.

It was a pretty devastating debut season for Lamela with Tottenham as he only made a limited number of appearances and had to sustain going through injuries and this was one of the main reasons on why he was rumored to leave the Premier League club but Pochettino stepped it up and shut down all of those rumors.

Pochettino also has his eyes set on a number of players including: Eto’o, Jay Rodriguez and Julian Green.
