After being finally named as the new Spurs manager yesterday, Andre Villas-Boas has said that he is delighted to take up the position and that he is very hopeful of bringing success to White Hart Lane.

Newspaper reports over the weekend have suggested that Andre Villas-Boas has been chosen as the man to replace Harry Redknapp. It’s understood that Villas-Boas has beaten off competition from the likes of Laurent Blanc and David Moyes to land the position on a four year contract, worth an estimated £16m.
